APW - Hamilton, scarce grade 964, 16S, 14K gold OF original case with 1906 presentation on gold cuvette, SW-SS, WE Arabic DSD signed Smith Patterson Company, lever escapement, 17J, GJS, gold center wheel, narrow fausses-cotes NI damascene, s#68967. Total production for grade 964 is 300, made from 1901-1904. Gross weight of assembled watch 52.7 dwt (82.0 g). Sold in our galleries in 2014.
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, good balance motion, good poise, near mint mvt condition overall; dial with single barely visible hl at 1; hands in excellent dark purple, some dullness; case shows light wear with ET just vanishing at the edges, hardly any MFS, two flat dents in band to either side of hinges, no dings; bow tight, unworn, crown shows medium smooth wear and break; good glass crystal. A fine original example of a very scarce grade. Condition unchanged from 2014 listing
